TASCA Invites 2006 Summer Auditions
The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts (TASCA) will be holding an open call on Sunday, April 30 to fill the remaining slots for the annual Performing Arts Program.
The program, which is open to teenagers 12-18, offers top-notch training and support for youths wishing to develop creative talents such as dance, writing, set and stage design, entertainment business and video promotion.
All the skills acquired by the students throughout the program will be on display at this year’s theatrical play performance, the Shoulder’s Of Giants.
The TASF Performing Arts Program has become a major force in performing arts training around the world. The TASF students have performed on Fox’s Good Day Atlanta, the 2002 Source Awards, with Grammy award winner Regina Bell, and at many festivals & community programs.
The open call will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Tupac Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Tickets for the Shoulder’s Of Giants play can be purchased by calling the Center at 404-298-4222.
